Save A Seal with the Seacoast Science Center

Seals come on to the beach to rest and soak up the sun. But what happens when a seal is in distress and in need of rescue? Children will learn all about the common species of the Gulf of Maine, find out how the SSC Marine Mammal Rescue Team responds to seals on the beach, and perform a mock rescue. Children will earn “seal of approval” after learning how to protect marine mammals that haul out on the shore.

Join us on the 26th during our regular preschool storytime hour for a special puppet show with Hampton Falls Children's Librarian and experienced puppeteer, Carol Sanborn. Afterwards, hang out in our children's area and put on your own show using our puppet theater!
